About Us
What is lake missoula old time?
Founded in 2018 to support the Missoula Old Time Social, Lake Missoula Old Time’s mission is to build an inclusive community around old time music and dance in Western Montana. We do this through old time jams and slow jams, workshops for square dance calling and playing old time music, concerts, and, of course, square dances.
Lake Missoula Old Time is 100% volunteer run. We’re a group of community members who share a love for traditional old time music and square dancing, and want to make these traditions accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Lake Missoula Organizers: Brian Herbel, Caroline Stephens, Alan Sillars, Annie Caires, John Parker, Dan Stone, Vince Caristo, Phillip Anuta, Maggie Gammons, Lauren Fritzsche, Kerry Morse, Bucky Bohrmann, Sky and Laura Cova, and Kyler Stanley.
